The UNESCO Peace and Diplomacy Programs provide immersive experiences for university
and high school students, organized by the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Diplomacy,
Governance, and Education. These programs aim to cultivate future diplomats and peace
ambassadors by deepening participants’ understanding of foreign policy, international
relations, and peacebuilding. With one-week programs in the winter for university and high
school students, and a comprehensive two-week program in the summer, participants
engage in focused sessions on diplomacy, global cooperation, and cultural exchange.
Through these experiences, students gain essential skills for global citizenship and
advocacy for peace.
The UNESCO Diplomacy and Junior Peace Programs offer intensive experiences
for students passionate about global peacebuilding and diplomacy. Participants
will explore key topics, including peace education, global values, intercultural
communication, and competence. Both programs also cover international
relations theory and cultural diplomacy, making them ideal for individuals eager
to deepen their understanding of global cooperation and diplomatic strategies.
